Air Display 3ではUSB接続でも、とてもスムーズなグラフィックパフォーマンスを実現できるようになりました。
Air Displayは、このiOSアプリと、お使いのMacにインストールしていただく、これとは別の無料のホストアプリから構成されています。

新しいUSB接続機能 – iOSデバイスとMacをUSBコードで接続することで、さらに速く、さらにパフォーマンスの信頼性が高まります。

1. App StoreからSplashtop XDisplayをダウンロード

サイトの右側の「Download the Streamer for your computer」よりプラットフォームをWin or Macを選び
最新のSplashtop Streamerをコンピューターにダウンロード→インストール
(Macユーザーが、XDisplayを使えるようにするには、
[設定] ->[詳細設定]下のMac Streamerにあるバーチャルドライバーをインストールします)
パソコンの再起動必要
3. Splashtop XDisplayデバイスリストからコンピューターを選択して完了
※デュアル化されない場合、アプリの設定項目よりドライバの再インストールすると表示される場合あり
※アプリが起動しない場合、ユーティリティからアクティビティモニタを起動し、「SRStreamerDaemon」のプロセスを終了させると起動します。

10.5.8だとitunes内のレビューで不具合があるみたいなので注意が必要?
WINDOWS Windows XP (32 ビットのみ) か、あるいは Vista または 7 (32 ビットまたは 64 ビット) が必要です。Windows 7 スターターエディションはサポートされていません。
こちらも、「iPad」とMacが、同じWi-Fiネットワークに存在する必要があるので注意です。
使い方
以下のサポートページの下の方からソフトウェアをダウンロード

インストールすると再起動。
アプリケーション > システム環境設定 か 画面上のメニューバーに「Air Display」 の項目が追加されているのでONの設定する。
次に、iPad で Air Display アプリを起動する。 またパソコンに戻ると iPadの名前が追加されているので選ぶ。
